Gallery of Photos of Skies and Earth

I am an amateur photographer and astronomer. On these pages I have posted some of my work.

The camera I use is a Pentax K-70, a 20 megapixel DSLR. I normally use a Tamron 18-250 mm zoom lens. My usual subjects are landscapes, flowers, buildings and other visually compelling views large and small. I occasionally take portraits of people I know.

I have two telescopes mounted in a permanent outdoor observing platform in my backyard in Southern California. My telescope for photos of nebula and galaxies is a 2-1/2 inch refractor, a William Optic Zenithstar 61, 360 mm focal length and f/5.9. My other telescope is a 8-inch reflector, a Celestron C8, 2000 mm focal lenght and f/10. I use it for very small deep sky objects and, occasionally, for planets.

See the subhead pages under this page for a gallery of my photos. [STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION]
